My name is Daniel Peña and I’m a graphic designer for Tolsek Studios, a company based on the outskirts of Downtown Los Angeles, California. I am a freelancer as well and have been working on many projects outside the company. I attended Brooks College in Long Beach, California and graduated in 1999 with an Associates Degree in Arts. I have 8 years experience in the business and I'm planning on having many, many more.
Every day I try to get better at what I do, for my own good and the good of the customer. I’m the type of person that likes going the extra mile to make the customer happy. I’m all about QUALITY, not quantity! If you're happy, I'm happy. If you're not happy, back to the drawing board. I really love my profession as this is the only way I can get my daily doze of art, otherwise I wouldn't have any at all. I have designed many things such as business cards, flyers, postcards, company identities (logos), posters, catalogs, brochures, vehicle wraps, stationaries, envelopes and other stuff.
I have knowledge of both platforms, Mac and PC, but I’m a Mac guy. I use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator CS3 for everything I do, but there are times that I need a little help from one of my favorite 3D softwares such as Maxon Cinema 4D to add a little bit of flavor to the project. Also, I have experience with QuarkXpress for all that pre-press stuff.
Now that you know a little bit about me, go ahead and check out my work.
